The RSP (Society)\u00a0is promoting scientific research and education in the field of\u00a0Palaeontology\u00a0and related areas like\u00a0Stratigraphy, Sedimentology, Paleobiogeography, Paleoecology, Basin Analyses, Geoheritage\u00a0and\u00a0Geoconservation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The RSP national and international meetings offers excellent opportunities for scientists working in these fields to share their research experience and results, to discuss different topics of interest, and to initiate collaborative projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The RSP support the publication of the scientific journal\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/actapalrom.geo-paleontologica.org\">Acta Palaeontologica Romaniae<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u00a0indexed in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.geoscienceworld.org\/georef\">GeoRef<\/a>, Master <a href=\"http:\/\/ipscience-help.thomsonreuters.com\/incitesLiveESI\/ESIGroup\/overviewESI\/esiJournalsList.html\">Journal List Thomson Reuters<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebsco.com\/products\/research-databases?search=Acta%20Palaeontologica%20Romaniae&amp;f%5B0%5D=market%3A1\">EBSCO<\/a> and Scopus.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Since\u00a02011, the\u00a0Acta Palaeontologica Romaniae\u00a0scientific journal is directed by Prof. Dr. Ioan I Bucur as editor-in-chief and became a regular journal with 2 issues per year. The submitted papers follow a rigorous peer-review process in order to raise the content of the journal to higher international standards.
